A Legacy of Life and Faithful Partnership

For Cindy and Myron, that question is deeply personal. Cindy was adopted as a newborn after her birth mother, just 17 years old, chose life. Myron’s mother also chose life when she gave birth to him at just 16.
Today, Cindy and Myron are the parents of four daughters and grandparents to four grandchildren. Their growing family is a living reminder that the impact of a life-affirming decision can reach far beyond what we see in the moment.
Their connection to Education for Life began 25 years ago when they were new to Ocala. When friends and mentors, Darryl and Rachael Lanker, invited them to attend a fundraising gala, they gladly accepted.
There, Cindy and Myron heard stories of lives saved and lives changed, and they knew they wanted to be part of the ministry.
Since that evening, they have supported Education for Life financially, hosted gala tables, participated in the Walk for Life, and served in board leadership.Myron currently serves as Board Chair, and Cindy has previously served in that role. They have also shared the importance of this ministry with their family, extending their commitment to the next generation.
Their story reminds us that the impact of a life-affirming decision—and the commitment to help others make life-affirming decisions—can reach far beyond what we see today.
