PHTLS – Prehospital Trauma Life Support

About PHTLS:

Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS) courses are nationally recognized continuing education programs for prehospital emergency health care professionals that bring the care of the trauma patient into a single focus.

PHTLS courses provide a prehospital trauma care philosophy, stressing the need to treat the multisystem trauma patient as a unique entity with specific needs. This may require an approach to the trauma patient that varies from traditional treatment modalities.

PHTLS courses are based on the Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS), a course for physicians developed by the American College of Surgeons-Committee on Trauma. More importantly, PHTLS courses follow the principles of care of trauma patients as developed by the Committee on Trauma.

16 hours 2-day provider
8 hours 1-day renewal

-All Initial Provider Classes are 8:00AM to 5:00PM on Day One and 8:00AM to 12:00PM on Day Two
-All renewal classes are 8:00AM to 5:00PM
-Classes marked with asterisks are not covered by our contract and you must contact the facility listed at the bottom of the schedule to sign up and provide payment.
-NO REGISTRATION WILL BE COMPELTED UNTIL YOU HAVE SPOKEN TO OUR OFFICE TO PROVIDE PAYMENT OR DEPOSIT.
-Registrations close 7 days prior to class, all required info must be into our office prior to the seven day deadline in order to avoid a $50 late registartion fee. To register within 7 days of a class please call our office.
