PALS – Pediatric Advanced Life SupportAbout PALS:The Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Provider and Renewal course is to aid the pediatric healthcare provider in developing the knowledge and skills necessary to efficiently evaluate and effectively manage seriously ill infants and children.
In this course you will learn how to assess for evidence of respiratory and circulatory compromise, establish treatment priorities, and intervene when necessary to stabilize the child. Students will also review treatment of the respiratory and circulatory systems, management of cardiac arrest and arrhythmia, and immediate post-resuscitation care.
