Education For Life offers all venues of CPR classes including, Health Care Provider, Heart Saver CPR, Heart Saver CPR/W AED and both Heart Saver First aid for Adults and HS First Aid for Children. We teach classes at our facility and can provide classes onsite at your facility.


Health Care Provider CPR classes

Audience:

• The Healthcare Provider course is intended for participants who provide health care to patients in a wide variety of settings, including in-hospital and out-of-hospital settings. This includes, Doctors, Nurses, Paramedics, EMT, clinic personnel etc…

• The course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages (including ventilation with barrier device, a bag-mask device, and oxygen), use of an automated external defibrillator (AED) and relief of foreign body airway obstruction (FBAO).

Core Elements:

• Adult/child/infant CPR
• Barrier devices
• Relief of foreign body airway obstruction (Choking)
• Automated external defibrillator (AED)

Course Length:

• 4 – 4.5 hours (full course)
• 3.5 hours (renewal course – you can only take a renewal course if you have taken an initial 2005 guidelines course)

Certification card issued upon successful completion.

-NO REGISTRATION WILL BE COMPELTED UNTIL YOU HAVE SPOKEN TO OUR OFFICE TO PROVIDE PAYMENT OR DEPOSIT.
-Registrations close 7 days prior to class, all required info must be into our office prior to the seven day deadline in order to avoid a $25 late registartion fee for HCP and $50 for the Instructor Course. To register within 7 days of a class please call our office.
All classes will start at 9AM, unless otherwise stated and will be held at Metro West Ambulance in Hillsboro.
